1. Museo SKREI
A giugno 2026 aprirà l’innovativo e spettacolare Museo Otolitten a Storvågan, Kabelvåg, nel cuore delle isole Lofoten.
Farà parte del centro SKREI, un luogo per la conoscenza e l’esperienza, che include anche il Museo delle Lofoten, la Galleria Espolin e l’Acquario delle Lofoten.
Otolitten racconta la storia della pesca delle Lofoten e mette in luce l’enorme importanza dello skrei, il merluzzo artico nordorientale, il pesce che ha costruito la Norvegia!
2. Ytri Island Retreat a Træna
È forse questo il nuovo hotel più originale e affascinante d’Europa?
L’esclusivo resort costiero, Ytri Island Retreat, situato sulla splendida costa dello Helgeland, offre 38 camere e suite, un bar, un ristorante di pesce, saune e un’area benessere all’aperto, il tutto su un remoto isolotto a Træna.
Ytri è diventato membro della prestigiosa associazione Relais & Châteaux nel 2025, uno dei soli 14 nuovi associati selezionati tra circa 600 candidati.
L’apertura del resort è prevista in aprile 2026.
3. Credo a Oslo
Il rinomato ristorante Credo della chef Heidi Bjerkan si è trasferito da Trondheim e ha aperto presso la Biblioteca Nazionale di Oslo.
Il nuovo ristorante propone una cucina norvegese eccezionale, che rende onore alle tradizioni culinarie del paese.
4. Kistefos, un nuovo centro visitatori
Lo spettacolare Museo Kistefos e centro d’arte, poco distante da Oslo, aprirà un nuovo centro visitatori a giugno 2026, progettato da Lund Hagem Arkitekter AS.
Il nuovo edificio avrà una stupenda vista sul fiume Randselva, e un’architettura che affonda le radici nel paesaggio e si ispira alla tradizione del trasporto fluviale del legname a Kistefos.
5. Emissioni zero sui fiordi UNESCO
Il Geirangerfjord dal 1 gennaio 2026 è entrato in una nuova era. Le piccole navi passeggeri sui fiordi patrimonio dell’UNESCO è necessario che adesso siano a emissioni zero.
Parti con una crociera elettrica sui fiordi, incredibilmente silenziosa, a bordo del nuovissimo catamarano ibrido Geirangerfjord 3 costruito in Norvegia, di Geiranger Fjordservice!
Opererà sulla linea Ålesund–Geiranger, offrirà crociere sul Geirangerfjord, e sarà anche disponibile per tour charter.
Dal 2032 la normativa delle emissioni zero sarà estesa a tutte le navi passeggeri.
E ci sono anche altre buone notizie per l’ambiente!
A novembre 2025 l’espresso costiero Havila ha dimostrato che è possibile viaggiare per l’intera rotta lungo la costa, tra Bergen e Kirkenes, ad emissioni ridotte.
Havila Polaris ha compiuto tutto il viaggio alimentata da biogas liquido. Calcoli preliminari indicano che le emissioni di CO2 possono essere tagliate di quasi il 92% utilizzando biogas e i sistemi di batterie della nave.
6. Passa una notte con le linci

7. Faro di Littleisland alle Vesterålen

9. Affronta le piste
Buone notizie per tutti gli sciatori!
Trysilgondolen, la nuovissima funivia della più grande località sciistica norvegese, Trysil nella Norvegia orientale, ha già aperto e può comodamente trasportare 3.000 ospiti all’ora risalendo la montagna per 2.417 metri. È uno dei maggiori investimenti singoli finora nel comprensorio.
La località sciistica Narvikfjellet, nella Norvegia settentrionale, si sta preparando aiCampionati Mondiali di sci alpino del 2029!
Prova la nuovissima seggiovia a 6 posti per Linken, il nuovo skilift, più elevato, e la nuova pista per famiglie che parte dalla stazione a monte della funivia.
10. Il Museo Kon-Tiki
Il Kon-Tiki è stato ristrutturato e la leggendaria zattera Kon-Tiki avrà una cornice spettacolare quando la nuova esposizione aprirà al pubblico in aprile.
Altre interessanti novità nel 2026:
- Dalen Hotel: lo storico hotel resterà ora aperto oltre alla stagione estiva e offrirà anche delle magiche avventure invernali.
- Thon Hotel Oslo Airport può adesso ospitare fino a 10.000 persone nel suo modernissimo hotel per eventi e conferenze, il più grande della Norvegia. L’enorme sala congressi di 5.000 m² propone soluzioni flessibili e si può adattare per ospitare anche piccoli eventi e gruppi.
- Un nuovo boutique hotel apre a Oslo il 1 luglio. Da Savoy 1918 avrai la perfetta unione di carattere storico ed eleganza contemporanea.
- A settembre anche Trondheim avrà un nuovo boutique hotel. Villa Nord è un hotel esclusivo realizzato in edifici storici che risalgono al 1837.

Friday, June 12 - The Lobby. Doors open at 20:00 - Concert starts at 21:00 - Age limit 18 years. Low Hangin' Fruits; meaning “tasks or projects that a team or employee can easily and quickly complete before moving on to more challenging work…” We have been playing together for more or less ten years, and we are playing with some songs and projects that we would have liked to go to a concert to enjoy ourselves. The band's current line-up is drums, bass, piano, guitar and vocals (sometimes 5 on vocals) and 3 wind instruments. We experiment with polyphony, and we particularly enjoy the funk-inspired landscape. There is probably a bit more jazz-inspired and neo soul-inspired music creeping in too, so this will be a little fruit basket of an experience. Which fruit do you like best? Well, it's not that big of a deal - because we think we have almost everyone in our basket. Some well-known hits, and some more hidden gems will be on the program, so you might imagine that the fruits we have picked - are not so low-hanging after all! Welcome to the Cultural School Festival Cultural School Festival 2026 is Trondheim Cultural School's festive round-up of the school year for our 4,500 students. During this colorful and diverse celebration, the city is filled with music, dance, theater, circus, visual art and creative joy as students from across the cultural school showcase what they have been working on throughout the year. Students perform and exhibit on stages and arenas all over Trondheim – from squares and parks to cultural centers and libraries – and invite the city's residents to join in the celebration. The Cultural School Festival is both a tribute to the students' efforts and a demonstration of the cultural school's importance in the city's cultural life.

Without humor we certainly see nothing. She offers playful melodies, playful thoughts and catchy choruses - yes, you may end up singing along to the lyrics "Rigmor".

Welcome to the concert series Vår Frue on Saturday! Trio Myr returns on June 13th. "Trio Myr" is a vocal trio consisting of Dina Grundberg (SE), Maja Sundell (SE) and Julie Forbord Skagen (NO). The trio performs carefully selected folk songs, hymns and hymns from Sweden and Norway in their own arrangements. The vocalists have their roots in jazz music, but are also passionate about Nordic folk music and its vocal tradition. Based on the stories of the texts, the group creates new and exciting arrangements where traditional melodies are mixed with improvisation and modern sounds, where the love of music is the common driving force. In the project "Meet the others" at the Department of Music, improvisational musicians encounter each other's practices and explore different ways of listening and playing together. The project explores asymmetrical rhythms and microrhythms, microtonality, new compositional forms, and musical dramaturgy linked to text. At the same time, we explore how we can share artistic development work with each other and with the field. The project is supported by NTNU's funds for artistic development work. Pianist Malcolm Braff has been invited as our first guest into the project because, in addition to being a fantastic musician, he has also done extensive research into new ways of understanding and experiencing rhythms. As a conclusion to our seminar day with him, we open up our research laboratory at Dokkhuset, both with Malcolm's solo material and with some of the material being researched in the project. Born in Brazil in 1970, Malcolm Braff began his musical upbringing in Dakar. He arrived in Switzerland at the age of 13, already with a multicultural background and a spontaneous approach to the piano. He has been a prominent figure in Swiss jazz for more than 25 years. He has released around twenty albums with various groups, including on the prestigious Blue Note label. Braff teaches at the Musik-Akademie Basel, jazz department, and has conducted extensive and groundbreaking research in rhythmics. JAZZÅGITT is coming to Ila Brainnstasjon 🎶 On Thursday, June 11, the Iladagene festival opens with melodious music that is easy to both hum and listen to. The quartet Jazzågitt serves a good mix of old standard songs from the jazz treasure troves and gems from the current singer/songwriter catalog. The voice of the frontman of the group, Kari Toft, is probably better known from nature programs on Nrk than as a singer, but now she performs as a vocalist together with three experienced musicians. Jazzågitt comes from Elverum and consists of Kari Toft (vocals) Ragnar Thorsteinsen (guitar) Åsmund Mjelva (bass and vocals) and Arild Sveum (keyboards and vocals)

Iladagan 40 years – 11.–14. June! This year we celebrate 40 years of Iladagan! For four days, Ila will be filled with small and large events created by people who live, work and are based in the district. The program is spread throughout Ila – from backyards, gardens and living rooms to parks, churches, cafes, pubs and meeting places. Some invite you to concerts on a bench in the street or in a backyard. Others open their doors for art, exhibitions or sing-alongs. Flea markets are arranged on the sidewalks and in gardens, and there are storytelling sessions, dance classes and city walks. In Ilaparken there will be a large market with music, dancing, food and stalls with new and used goods. Here you can also experience concerts, competitions and activities for both young and old. Iladagan is a festival where the entire district is the stage – where there may be singing under the lilac trees in the park, jazz cafés on the sidewalk, campfire singing at Skansen or hammocks in rows along Ilevollen that invite you to take a breather.

Have you missed an active cultural offer in Strindheim? Do you want to find out how culture can contribute to building good local communities? Or do you just want to catch some great concerts? Bygg Kultur! is a festival at the newly opened Strindheim Kulturhus and, through its work, wants to contribute to creating an active and inclusive cultural offering for the district. Here you have the opportunity to meet young artists, bands and groups in various genres. Among them are the pu-gaze band Gullfaks Anarki, singer-songwriter Marit Haugsand, the alt-rock band Slabberas and the newly started jazz trio Koala. There will also be a panel discussion exploring the question: "How can culture build good local communities?" The discussion will be led by Maria Vik, psychiatric nurse and involved in the work with Strindheim Kulturhus, Nora Bilalovic Kulseth, researcher and head of the department of music at NTNU, and Lise Linge PhD in Philosophy. The event is drug-free and open to everyone!

(Oäkta) Söner af Allan perform songs by their spiritual father, Allan Edwall. In other words, it will be an evening of laughter, tears, anger and wonder. Allan Edwall is perhaps best known in Norway as an actor, especially as Emil's father. However, he was also a well-known and beloved musician. Edwall wrote his own songs, both lyrics and music. He released a total of six albums. The songs express a great social commitment with sympathy for the poor and weak. Many of the lyrics also combine an existential melancholy with burlesque humor. Several of the songs have been interpreted after his death by, among others, Stefan Sundstrøm and now; (Oäkta) Söner av Allan.
